The Hybrid Species Series
Hybrid Species is an ongoing series that happens during moments of quiet and close observation in the studio. Foraged and collected natural materials are preserved with collage and various printing techniques. This series is an opportunity to write new chapters for these remnants of nature, to create physical reminders of lives well lived, and to capture the essence of their most vulnerable state.
The work uses pressed leaves, mushrooms, and natural matter.
